Can You Forgive A Cheater?

Many say marriage was created back in the day to keep men from straying; of course if TV has taught us anything; a ring on the finger and a ceremony doesn’t mean a husband or a wife won’t grab some monkey love on the side.

A friend asked me the other day why people cheat; and there are so many reasons why someone looks for sex elsewhere; they’re bored with the same person; they’re not getting sex at home; they’re nymphomaniacs, and sometimes the person you married just  isn't a good fit for you sexually, and as the years go by it gets even worse.

Writing at Starbucks the other day I overheard two sassy gay guys talking; the subject of cheating came about; and the bigger one remarked, “Once a cheater, always a cheater.”

It made me think, what would I do if I found out my significant other was having an affair? I guess one imagines they would hit the roof, while others probably think, “Good, that will keep him out of my bed.” For me the answer wasn’t as simple; I don’t think I could forgive or trust the person again, but that’s easy to say until it happens to you; sometimes the cheater should be forgiven, and hopefully trust in them restored in the future.

It always amazes me how couples can share a bed, a household and never talk about anything that they’re feeling, which of course makes it easy to imagine all kinds of things are going on with the other person, which in turn makes it easy to cheat, "I bet he's cheating too, we haven't had sex in months."

The answer to the question is; there’s no real answer; everyone’s situation is different and requires a unique reaction; though a good old fashioned vase to the head of the person who cheated on you, works pretty well too.

West has talent, yes, but so do a lot of other people. It’s so sad when some artist’s hit it big, and let their ego take over; this is why I think most awards shows should be banned; best this-best that; you know what? Kiss my ass you over paid fool; the idea that one actor is better than the other is so egotistical; the truth is most awards are given to the actors and singers with the most friends and money in Hollywood, and not always because of how good they are.

A lot of great artist have believed their own hype, and the majority wind up on a horrible reality shows on an anonymous TV network or worst yet, unemployed and broke.

West is a stranger to controversy like a gay guy in West Hollywood is to tank tops; which means for my slower lovelies; they go hand-and-hand.

West has a new album “Yeezus,” That’s coming out soon; so he’s acting extra desperate to sell the thing. People are talking about it, unfortunately for West, only in a negative way. West recently gave horrible performances of materiel from the new album, one at “The Met Ball” and the other on “Saturday Night Live.” On both events West unleashed sloppy jams; for SNL West yelled through new songs “Black Skinhead” and New Slaves,” that left many bored sober. The new songs lyrics and rhymes are so bad and dull; many in attendance laughed that a Venice Beach bum could have put out better songs.



After hearing West’s new album; many have been wondering what happened to the singer/songwriter who gave us gems like, “Gold Digger” and “Heartless”

Instead of acting so pissed off; West should be acting more mature; especially since he’s becoming a father and bringing new life into the world, but that would take humility; something West or his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, have no knowledge of.

Isn’t it a shame in this day and age how we feed flaming egos like Kanye West, and never give a thought to the thousands of people around the world who go out of their way to make a difference in someone’s life; without ever getting awards, their own fashion line or their ass kissed on a daily basis?

Wake Up Gay Men! You Are Not Safe.

With gay marriage being talked about as much as one of the Kardashian’s having a bowel movement, a lot of gay and lesbians have the false hope that there is more acceptance than ever.

Though true public acceptance for gays is at an all time high, there are still many gay and lesbians being beat and killed, even in a city like Manhattan. 5 gay men, in 3 different incidents were beaten badly in the last 7 days! The last one was on Friday night in the West Village; a man walked up to a guy, called him a faggot, pulled out a gun and shot him in the face; the guy died Friday night.

Most gay men are more concerned with “Manhunt” and “Grindr” (gay sites where men cruise for sex) instead of thinking they could possibly be killed on the street for their sexual orientation. Most young gays these days did not experience shame from family and friends; no gay role models and that just by walking down the street; someone could call you a faggot and punch you in the face, or worse, kill you.

According to NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly, there have been 27 bias crimes in New York in 2013, of course that number is doubled when you realize that very poor or undocumented gays and lesbians get beat, raped or worse and never report it out of fear of being deported, or arrested for a prier minor crime.

What can we do? First we have to be careful; there are people who hate us, and that will never change. So when going out and having fun; just be mindful of how much you’re drinking, and if you’re drugging, stay in and have your party. I don’t want to advocate carrying a weapon, but if you have to, go ahead; you’re keys make a good weapon to put in your fist if sensing trouble.

We as a culture need to protect our own, so if you see someone being harassed, help them, I’m not saying to turn into “Rambo,” call 911; we all have cell phones these days. Just remember, that gay or lesbian being harassed could be your brother, sister, friend or, sadly even ourselves.




We have to stay strong, and sometimes fight with our fist or our words to win against being beat down for years. Our brothers and sisters are being killed; you have to wonder; are we doing enough to protect ourselves?

The Balls In Our Court: First NBA Player In History Comes Out.

 

At 7 feet tall, basketball player Jason Collins, 34, doesn't have to worry about too many people stepping all over him.
Many little boys and girls dream of being a basketball player for the NBA and probably think life is just grand, but for Collins it hasn’t been all sports cars and dollar bills.

Many days he had to sit silently through his life, rather it was listening to the faggot jokes in the locker room to-not having a loved one waiting for him in the bleachers when he had a successful game.



Hottie Collins has kept a secret for years while playing professional basketball; he’s gay; which makes him the first openly gay player in sports, who’s currently still playing on a team.

There are many more closeted athletes in sports, and I’m sure many will never come out, and that’s OK, im just glad that Collins did, because there are young boys and girls sitting in their rooms, in horror that they are gay; maybe some of those boys and girls want to play professional basketball and before Collins came out, they felt it’s a dream they could never achieve because of the blatant homophobia in sports; now they have a fighting chance.

When the bullshit dies down and Collins goes back to play, it will be his skill and not who he beds at night that matters.

Boston Marathon Terror; 3 Dead, One 8-Year-Old Boy.

Heartbreaking, an 8-year-old child was one of two people killed when two bombs exploded in the packed streets near the finish line of the Boston Marathon today. Two other bombs we’re said to be dismantled, but the FBI says now, there was only the two bombs that went off. Police are still not saying if the bombs we’re terrorist related.

At least 150 people are seriously hurt with injuries, including dismemberment, witnesses said, and local hospitals say they are treating shrapnel wounds, open fractures and limb injuries, several of the injured are also children. Many people that we’re running and watching the race we’re left bloody and dismembered, a truly horrible day.

Two large explosions, just 50 yards apart, went off shortly before 3 pm, just as the runners hit the finish line. One of the explosions happened near the entrance of the Fairmont Copley Hotel in Copley Square. NBC News, citing anonymous law enforcement sources, reported that a "small homemade bomb" is believed to be responsible for the explosions.

Security in New York, London and Los Angeles has been beefed up. No matter what religion you believe it, or even if you don’t believe in anything; please take the time to close your eyes and hope that the pain of the victims was quick; wish their loves ones all your symphony, and most of all, luck in finding, and prosecuting anyone involved in this manslaughter of innocents.

First Airline Charging By Weight; Kirstie Alley Vows Revenge.

A popular Airline use to say, “Come fly the friendly skies;” now it’s like they’re saying, “You’ll pay for those big thighs.”

Samoa Air has started charging it’s passengers by how much they weigh. When you book your ticket online you have to give your weight. For those of you who still like giving your high school weight; be warned you’ll be weighed at the airport like a bag of coffee beans as well. Make sure you’re honest, or Tamika at the Delta counter will love to roll her eyes and announce loudly, “Pay up heifer!” when the scale says 173 and you put 125.

Airlines have been crying fake tears for years that they’ve been losing money; not so when all the major airlines boasted healthy profits in 2012. Fuel and added security have gone up over the years but the airlines have started charging for everything (soon they will charge to breathe on a plane) one airline has announced it will soon put in pay toilets (I bet the 16oz iced tea is on them)

One benefit of charging by weight; if you’re traveling with small kids (who usually get charged adult fares) Parents will save there. Many big boned travelers are stressed that they will be paying the equivalent of a first class ticket to sit in Coach. I myself have been stuck in the middle of two obese people and it was not a pleasant 5 hour flight; in situations like this; I shouldn’t have to suffer and they should pay for two seats and have the extra room for themselves.

Many other airlines are thinking of doing the same thing; which has me wondering; what will they charge for next on airplanes?
